Why?

I love our Tivoli Audio radio ALOT! It's sounds badass with really good bass and it can pick up clear FM waves even when the signal is really poor. But at the same time as it is a wonderful radio, it is almost too good. What, do you say, too good reception? Well why. Why does incoming flights passing our window (big airport 40 km away, ALL incoming flights pass our window) interfer with the radiosignal? I enjoy listening to the radio, but it is SO annoying when you hear a random pilot going "mumblemumbleblablabla" every two minutes. Why do all electric action mess up the radiosignal? When I turn on a lamp, a laptop or even the waterboiler in the immediate surroundigs of the radio it goes "krrchhhh". Annoying! And WHY WHY WHY does our neighbours cellphone affect our radio? Do they sit really close to our common wall texting all afternoon? I accept that MY phone interferes, but jeeez, we live in a solid concrete building with REALLY thick walls. I never ever hear any noises from our neighbours. It's almost creepy, since I'm used to live in wooden houses where you almost can hear what the other people are thinking. The only noise the people next door annoys me with is the "tk tktkt tktk tktkt" whenever they are texting or calling.. wich is like ALL THE TIME. Oh so many things to annoy a poor little student trying to concentrate on her exams.. Well, I'll just stop listening to the radio, and just plug the radio to my laptop and listen to Spotify instead.

Our lovely radio <3

Wicked view

These photos aren't editet, I just happen to have a sweetass digital cam.

This is my neighbourhood. Lucky me!

Btw.

This is typical Bergen-weather, sunny-and-rainy-four-seasons-a-day-weather.

Swedish favourites

Last summer the Swedish Maskinen band had a huge hit with the song "Alla som inte dansar". The song got alot of PR in Scandinavia because of it's somehow controversial lyrics ("everybody who's not dancing is a rapist!"), but the sucess was not only in Swedish understanding countries. It became a huge dancefloor hit all over Europe. I totally understand why: IT ROCKS! The combination of house, mad bass and groovy hiphop is a winner. It doesn't sound like anything else I've heard. Correction; it DIDN'T sound like anything else. This highly danceable combination of house and hiphop is getting more and more popular. Especially in Sweden perhaps.. Why? I don't know. But I love it and I love dancing to it! Let me show you:

Maskinen "Alla som inte dansar"

Far och son "Panik"

Basutbudet "Fett med soft"

Mapei "Videovixens"

Promoe "Svennebanan"

Snook "Längst fram i taxin"

Adam Tensta "Dopeboy"

Don Quixote

I'm currently reading the faboulus story of Don Quixote of la Mancha, his hack Rocinante and his squire Sancho Panza (wich is a very difficult name to pronounce when I'm reading out loud for my boyfriend). I've just started reading the book, but I'm already laughing pretty bad..

Here's a couple pictures of mr Don:

Don Quixote as Picasso sees him. This is also the cover of my book.

A bronze statue located in Havana, Cuba. This is not my photo, but I walked past it when I was there. Quite similar to the Picasso drawing I think.

Picture from Terry Gilliam's first attempt to make the movie "The man who killed Don Quixote". Rocinante looks quite healty here.

Looking forward to continue reading the book, it's really really funny. I like the way Sancho ignores his insanity and how everybody else doesn't. My favourite part so far is when his friends and servants seals up his library so he can't read his knight novels anymore and hopes that if he stops reading the books, his sanity will reappear and he will realize that he is infact NOT a knight. When he tries to find the door, there is only a smooth wall there, and his niese tells him that an evil wizard made his room disappear. He gets really mad and svears to find the wizard and kill him. A little while later he sneaks away in the middle of the night, so that no one will stop him, in his armour to find the wizard. Hilarious!
